I have been playing tabletop RPG since I was introduced to D&D 3.0 when it came out back in 2000, after getting out of the military. I had always liked reading fantasy but never had the opportunity to get into roleplaying games other than on the computer.
Since my introduction, I have almost exclusively ran games and hardly ever get a chance to play. Somehow, everytime I get to play something happens a short while later and I end up running again. I have ran most of my games in D&D 3.0 and 3.5 (and various other run-off d20 settings) since it seems to be the easiest to find players for. Pathfinder is our new go-to system and despite the things that I disliked and was getting frustrated with in D&D, Pathfinder has renewed my enjoyment for the d20 system.
That being said, I also have a lot of interest in other systems as well. I have finally gotten to run short 7th Sea and GURPS games with my local group. I have extensively read but not had the chance to play other systems that I eventually want to do, such as: Traveller (MGP) and World of Darkness.
I currently have a project going on with my local group (linked as one of my campaigns) where we are testing out various other systems to get exposure to other things besides d20.
